Recent changes to the Cyber Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) rollout have created new questions for federal contractors and subcontractors. While the Department of Defense recently suspended implementation of CMMC Phase 2 requirements, cybersecurity obligations for companies handling Federal Contract Information (FCI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) remain in effect.
