Professional Civil Engineer graduated from University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 1983 (lived and worked in AK for 28 years).  Over 40 years of Project Management, Construction, and Engineering Design experience, of which 33 years was with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).  Served USACE with distinction as a member of the Senior Executive Service until retiring in 2016. Currently serves as Key Account Director, Federal Civil Works for Black & Veatch.  Career highlights include serving as Regional Business Director in the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) and Great Lakes and Ohio River Division (LRD), Program Director in the Gulf Region Division (Iraq), Regional Dam and Levee Safety Officer for LRD from 2008-2013, Chief of Military Programs Integration Division at HQUSACE (2013-2016), PMI Executive Committee Member in 2014 and 2015, Director of CW for Black & Veatch from 2019-2023, and National Waterways Conference Board of Directors in 2024-2025.

Black & Veatch is an Architecture and Engineering firm specializing in full-service design and construction management to support Military, Civil Works/Water, Energy/Power, and Telecommunications.
