How can we introduce minors to the many benefits & opportunities available within the construction industry?

 Join us for an insightful Lunch & Learn session where you'll gain valuable insights into the process, legality, and firsthand experiences of AGC general contractors in hiring minors. If you're interested in contributing to the growth of Alaska's construction workforce by hiring 16 and 17-year-olds, we invite you to join AGC's Workforce Committee on May 10th from 11 am to 1 pm at the AGC Anchorage Office. 

During this event, you'll hear from the Alaska Department of Labor, Marsh McLennan Agency, Anchorage School District, and AGC Contractors. Following the presentations, we'll conclude with a roundtable discussion to facilitate engagement with the presenters, address questions, and share experiences.
