Please join us at the Anchorage Petroleum Club on Friday, May 13th from 5-8 PM to celebrate Margaret Empie & Kimberley Gray on their retirements. These women embody the mission of our organization and have worked tirelessly over the years in a variety of key positions and as mentors. They have truly helped to build AGC into the strong, successful, member-driven organization we are today, and we are forever grateful for their contributions.

Margaret Empie has been with AGC for 22 years, serving in positions ranging from Special Projects Coordinator, CIPF, membership, Alaska Contractor Magazine lead, and everything in between! She is the queen of sponsorship strong-arming, PAC ticket collections, and is always the first to turn on the lights in the office, even through COVID. We love Margaret for her willingness to learn, pivot, and jump in with both feet on ANY job she’s asked to do, all with style and grace. Her last day will be April 29, but don’t worry, you’ll still see her on the golf course representing AGC this summer! 

Kimberley Gray has been with AGC for 17 years, serving the majority of her tenure as Events & Communication Coordinator. Kimberley has a drive and enthusiasm for serving members and the needs of our industry that is hard to come by these days. She has done an incredible job of elevating our events, and communication to members, and is the first to embrace technology efforts that have kept our association efficient and relevant. We love Kimberley for her fresh (sometimes crazy at first!) ideas, strong commitment, and heart for service. Her last day will be May 27, and we look forward to seeing photos of her many upcoming travels!
